Description
Duck Lake State Park fosters all types of recreational adventures during any season throughout the year. Whether you want to experience the snow or hike during the summer, this park will provide you with the opportunity for fun on any day. The shoreline of this park starts at the north shore of Duck Lake, and it travels all the way over to Michigan Lake. This park also covers over 700 acres of land along the beautiful shoreline. 

When you come and visit this state park, you will find many different amenities that are available for your enjoyment. You will find the beautiful lake, trails, a visitor center, picnic tables, picnic shelters, and availability for boating, fishing, hiking, biking, hunting, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, wildlife watching, nature watching, paddleboarding, canoeing, and so much more. 

The Duck Lake State Park is specifically a day-use park, so camping is not permitted. Dogs can also come and visit this state park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay. During your time in the Duck Lake State Park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the state park authorities. 

Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the Duck Lake State Park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home. Dogs must be well-mannered before they come to this park as Duck Lake State Park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. 

Humans should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in Duck Lake State Park. If you wish to reserve a facility in this park, you must schedule a reservation.
