This doggy wonderland consists of two acres and is easy to find just north of the Oldham City Dispatch and across from the softball diamonds. You will find lots of free pawrking at the entrance to the park.Â
There are two fully fenced play spaces for doggoes to enjoy. One is set aside for use by pupperonis who are of the shy, senior, or smaller variety, with the other enclosure a designated pawrty zone for larger or more exuberant dogs. Though off-leash play is welcome here, please do bring along a leash. You will need it for entering and exiting the play areas, as well as if you wish to check out the scene at Wendell Moore Park.Â
Entrance to Elizabeth Cleland Cauley Dog Park requires an approved application and corresponding fee. The cost is $35 per year and permits entrance into any of the dog parks in the Louisville Dog Run Association. To obtain a membership, you must show proof of a current rabies vaccination. All dogs are also required to wear a Louisville Dog Run Association tag on their collars as well as their city dog license tag. Food, alcohol, cigarettes, and glass containers are strictly forbidden on the grounds.Â
You will find the doggo runs have lots of furrific space where Fido can practice his very best zoomies! There are also benches where you can take a load off and enjoy your pooch having a ball. Don't forget to bring along drinking water and some cleanup bags. Bathrooms are available for the pawblic to use at the nearby Wendell Moore Park.Â
