The park itself is a natural habitat for many different types of plant life. Among the vegetation found at this park are the following: ferns, mosses, flowering rhododendron, and the unique beech-hemlock tree. Some of the most popular activities besides appreciating the flora include basketball, biking, bird watching, fishing, boating, golfing, horseshoes, picnicking, and volleyball. The grounds are also alive with wildflowers in season, and are home to a concession stand and playground. Bathrooms are housed on the premises for public use. Here, owners can obtain drinking water to address their dog's hydration needs. Clean up bags are not available on the property. Owners should bring bags with them from home to assist them with cleaning up after their pets.Â
