Hill's Bark Park (at Middlefork Reservoir)
Though the dog play space is a designated off-leash zone, it is required that all dogs remain on a lead when going into and out of the enclosure as well as in all other areas of the park. In addition to this, owners are asked to carry a leash with them at all times in case of an emergency.
Entrance to this public facility is free of charge. Donations are gratefully accepted and are used to provide needed park maintenance as well as to fund improvements to this doggy play haven. Unfortunately, there are no bathroom facilities for public use on the premises.
A plentiful water supply is available to help keep Fido well-hydrated during his play time at the park. Agility equipment is also installed within the dog run area to help keep Fido's brain and body well-stimulated, providing a full enrichment experience for him.
This dog park earns high marks from owners for its peaceful atmosphere and tranquil wooded setting. Access is available to the reservoir lake; however, dogs are to remain on lead in this area of the park. The reservoir area is well-suited to fishing.
For those who love to observe wildlife, Middlefork Reservoir Park is home to many different animal species as well as varied plant life. Also on-site is a playground. Picnic-style seating is provided in various sections of the park to provide a cool, quiet area where owners can relax and enjoy observing their dogs at play.
It is unknown if complimentary poop bags are available at this dog play space. Owners are required by law to carry bags with them to pick up and properly dispose of all canine waste. Though no other official rules govern the use of this public space, it is highly recommended that all dogs be current on vaccinations and bear the appropriate required state license tag.
