Kingdom Come State Park is about 1,300 acres of beautiful wilderness that has barely been disturbed. Canines are welcome throughout the park and on hiking trails as long as their on a leash. They need to have inoculations, license, and identification tags displayed on their collar when visiting the park. There are 14 hiking trails to discover with your dog.Â
The views from some of the trails overlook beautiful rock formations and other picturesque natural beauty. You can also enjoy other activities at Kingdom Come State Park such as biking, boating, camping, fishing, golfing, mini-golf, horseback riding, paddling, and swimming. This park is well maintained and requires pet parents to clean up after their dogs. Always carry plastic doggie waste bags to assure you clean up immediately.Â
There are trash bins located throughout the park, but you need to hold onto the waste bag until you reach the garbage for quite some time depending on where you are located in the park. Dogs are not welcome in horseback riding area for security purposes. You can check with the park office to receive current rules regarding the areas of the park that dogs can access.Â
