In the scenic northwestern state of Washington, you can find a lovely dog park inside of Lake Padden Park. Once you enter Lake Padden Park and drive past all the sports fields, you will find the fenced in dog park area. While the gravel lot that is designated for the park may be a bit small, there are additional paved lots surrounding the area for the more crowded days.
The Lake Padden Dog Park is conveniently separated so that there are individual areas for large and small dogs to play. Each area has benches for the humans to rest while their pups are enjoying the socialization. Additionally, you will find a covered area with picnic tables on the large dog side of the park area. Visitors to this park have also noted that there is a rather large bathroom available near the dog park area as well. Not to forget one of the most important amenities for any dog park, Lake Padden does offer water fountains for your fur baby.
If you and your pup are looking for a little something extra, then Lake Padden Dog Park will definitely be a treat for you both. In addition to the fenced dog park area, there are off-leash walking trails available within the park. Also, if your dog is a swimmer, then he or she will be happy to find there is access to the lake for dogs to play in the water.
As dog owners, we all know one of the most important courtesies to remember is that we clean up after our fur babies. And while there are poop bag dispensers at Lake Padden Dog Park, they are not always stocked. Be sure to bring your own supply of bags, especially if you plan on using the trail areas. There are trash cans inside the park for you to dispose of any waste.
