The Sunset Pond Off-Leash Dog Area is a natural environment that allows your dog to enjoy nature. It has a picturesque pond that most dogs love to jump into and swim during the spring and summer season. There’s a quaint bench located at the edge of the pond for pet parents to sit and relax as their dog runs around in his natural environment. 

There are plenty of trees that provide shade and the feeling of a cozy environment. Dogs that love to explore nature and run around in a maze of trees will enjoy this serene dog park. As soon as you arrive, you can take your dog off his leash. Dogs are welcome off-leash on all the trails throughout the park as well as the designated dog area and lake. 

Dogs are allowed off their leash but if your dog tends to run far away too fast you are encouraged to keep him on a leash. The dog area is a natural environment that does not have fences to keep dogs in one area. A well-trained dog that stays nearby his pet parent at all times will enjoy this beautiful dog park and trails off-leash. 

Dog owners are encouraged to bring water and a portable bowl for their dog to help prevent dehydration. You can also bring toys along to play fetch with your dog. However, some canines often become territorial about their favorite toys. If another dog tries to play along it could cause tension between the two dogs. Avoid bringing your dog’s favorite toys to help prevent fighting among the dogs. 

Treats are handy for pet parents to bring along and often help encourage dogs to stay near their owners. This pristine park is a joy to visit with your dog. Help keep it clean by picking up after your dog. Bringing your own poop bags is encouraged.
