There are circular drains that become water fountains when turned on. Fido can get a sip of water between chasing his new friends and playing fetch or just run through the fountain like a kid runs through a sprinkler on a hot summer day. The park has a significant amount of shade and there are benches for the two-legged friends to sit on. The section for smaller dogs has the same amenities, it is just smaller in size.
The park is busy after school and work hours, so make sure your pup is ready for some socialization when he is there. The Levy Park itself is rather large, so be sure your dog is on-leash anytime he is not in the designated areas. There are community events such as yoga and even a community garden. The park also features a performance pavilion.
The Levy Dog Park has restrooms, but they are a bit of a walk away from the dog park. The dog park is located in the park near East Side Street and is near the Activity Lawn. Parking is not too far from the dog park. While this park is well-maintained, be a good visitor and pick up after your pup with your own poop bags. Also, make sure your dog is up to date on his vaccinations and is wearing his licensing tags.
