It also has a canine watering station, meaning you will have an abundant water supply for the duration of your time at the park. This is a valuable addition as although the park does have several trees and plenty of vegetation, none of them provide much shade. This means your canine could easily get overheated if they do not have access to water. This park is relatively large, allowing your canine plenty of room to play around and have a good time.
The Dog Park at Lexington Terrace has a high fence; meaning even the highest jumpers aren't getting out and you can feel comfortable taking even the biggest runners off-leash. At Lexington Terrace Dog Park there are separate sections for large dogs and small dogs. Any dogs under 30 lbs. have a relatively large section for them to run and play without any larger dogs being allowed inside. This means they will be safe and don't need to worry about any larger dogs being aggressive or playing too roughly.
Benches are available for you to sit and there is plenty of space for games like frisbee or fetch. There are also bags for your canine's disposal on-site as well as garbage tins for their disposal. The grounds are regularly maintained. Outside of the fenced sections of the park, there are other facilities available. The park has a rather large picnic shelter. Remember, your dog is required to remain on-leash in the larger and unfenced area of the park.
