Lincoln State Park

Lincoln State Park is in Chrisney, Indiana. This recreational center and campground is a destination hotspot for families looking to enjoy vacation time in a tranquil, rural setting. The on-site Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Plaza pays homage to former President Lincoln's 200th birthday and is filled with artifacts from his childhood years spent in Indiana. 

Dogs are welcome to join their families at this state park but are not permitted in public buildings or on beaches. They must also remain on a lead at all times. There is no designated dog play area at Lincoln State Park nor is drinking water provided. Owners should pack a bag which includes all of the items necessary for a great day at the park such as drinking water. a dog dish, and poop bags. 

Park officials expect all owners to assume responsibility for their pets by cleaning up after them and properly disposing of their waste. Lincoln State Park is a public recreational center and camping facility, and entrance is provided to all people and their pooches at no cost. The property is home to many interesting recreational activities. Among the most popular outdoor opportunities are boating, fishing, hiking, camping, swimming, and picnicking. 

Housed on the grounds are a camp store and a shop which offers daily rentals of water sports equipment including kayaks, canoes, paddleboats, and rowboats. There is also a nature center installed on the premises. Campsites are available by reservation. It is assumed that they are fee-based though the cost is not known. 

Visitors to this lovely state park praise its well-maintained grounds and restful atmosphere. Lincoln State Park observes and enforces all Indiana state legislation.
