McCormick's Creek State Park

McCormick Creek State Park is filled with beauty and adventure and it sits in the region of Indiana. It is known for its marvelous views and adventurous fun that is available during all seasons. This state park was the first state park that opened in the Indiana region, making it a favorite spot for most visitors that come into the area. There are different historical areas in McCormick Creek State Park that you can enjoy during your trip as well.

You will find picnic tables, picnic shelters, a visitor's center, a recreational center, a saddle barn, hiking trails, biking trails, a nature center, a swimming pool, and availability for all sorts of recreational activities. 

Dogs can also come and visit this state park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay. During your trip to this state park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the authorities. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home. 

All canines and their humans must be well-mannered before they come to this park as McCormick Creek State Park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. Pet parents should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in McCormick Creek State Park.
