Negwegon State Park
When you come and visit this state park, you will find many different amenities that are available for your enjoyment. There are campgrounds, bike rentals, hiking trails, a picnic area, a picnic pavilion, a playground, designated swimming areas, volleyball court, basketball court, a beach, and a horseshoe area.
There is also open availability for other types of recreational activities. Dogs can come to Negwegon State Park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay. During your time at this state park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the Negwegon State Park.
Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home. Dogs must be well-mannered before they come to Negwegon State Park as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here.
Humans should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in the park. If you wish to camp, you must schedule a reservation. Reservations can be made on the park's main website or in the park's main office. Overall, the Negwegon State Park is an excellent addition to the Michigan community.
