Dogs in Plainsboro are barking about the Plainsboro Dog Park! Located inside the Plainsboro Community Park, this puptastic spot is sure to please your pup!
Featuring two separate areas for large and small dogs, the dog park is fully fenced with double-gated entries on both sides. There's lots of room to roam on the grass and dirt terrain, and you can watch your pup have a blast romping with furiends on a bench along the fence line.Â
A drinking fountain for doggos is in the large dog section for thirsty pups, so be sure to bring a bowl for your tiny pooch in the small dog area. The Plainsboro Dog Park is beautiful, but there aren’t any trees inside the dog area, so there’s not much shade available until later in the evening. An umbrella to protect you from the sun may be a good idea.Â
If your dog would like to play in this furbulous park, they'll need to be over 6 months old, current on all their vaccinations, licensed, and wearing appropriate tags. Be sure to bring clean-up bags and always pick up after your pup. Trash cans are placed throughout for easy disposal. The township asks that you stop your dog from digging holes, and fill any before you leave. While the dog park is an off leash zone, you'll need to keep the leash on when entering or exiting the dog park, as well as in any other areas of Plainsboro Community Park.
Once your dog has had their fill of socializing, clip the leash back on and explore the rest of the Community Park. There's lots of open land to traverse, and several picnic areas for a lovely outdoor meal or snack. And with a playground for the little two-leggeds in your pack, the whole family can enjoy this green space.
