You can find out more information regarding registration, vaccination, and fees on their website. This park is not a large area, but the membership means it is less trafficked then many dog parks in the area. This reduced traffic keeps the grass in great shape, and it stays green and clean cut during the spring and summer months. Seating lines the park in the form of benches.
There are also doggie bags and a garbage can that is regularly taken out by the entrance to the Pleasant Ridge Dog Run. Unfortunately, this park is not large enough to play any long-range games. Some versions of fetch or catch could be played, but your throws would be quite limited. Parking is a bit limited at this dog park, and you may have a hard time finding a spot on some of the nearby streets.
You will also likely have to unload your canine streetside, so be sure to take care and bring your leash! Some trees line the park and produce some shade during the evening hours of the day, however, when the sun is at its peak, you are not sheltered from the suns rays. There is water at this dog park so be sure to bring your bowl so your canine can stay hydrated.
Also due to the reduced traffic, this makes for a good park to initially socialize your canine as there will not likely be many dogs at this park. If you are looking for a well maintained and relatively private dog park, and don't mind the annual fee, then the Pleasant Ridge Dog Run is the one for you.
