Rocky Top offers three fully enclosed areas spread over 3-acres, one for puppies, another for small to medium dogs, and a third for any size dogs. All three areas feature a ton of trees for shade, and lots of room to explore, play chase or just romp with furiends. Clean-up bags and trash cans are located throughout to make it easy to pick up after your pup, and benches and picnic tables give you a place to relax while your dog has a blast.Â
Best of all, there's a pond in the "any size" section that's pawfect for a splash or cool dip. The pond features a filtration system to keep algae at bay and the water clean, and there's seating nearby so you can keep an eye on the action.Â
While Rocky Top has a Princeton address, it is actually located and managed by South Brunswick Township, which makes a difference when looking at fees. Entrance to this puptastic park is by membership only, which runs $25 a year for South Brunswick residents, and $200 a year for non-residents, which includes those living in Princeton. If you'd like to try out the park first, you can get a monthly trial membership for $10, or $40 for non-residents. Non-residents also have one more option and can purchase a half year membership for just $100. Membership also requires a current dog license and proof of vaccinations, specifically for rabies and the distemper/parvo combo. Dogs also need to be over 6 months of age, and males should be neutered.
Once in the park, you can take off the leash and let your dog enjoy the great outdoors. Keep all toys, food and treats at home, but do bring water for your thirsty pup. Your dog should be leashed when entering or exiting the park, and anywhere outside it.Â
Keep your dog's tail wagging with a trip to the furbulous Rocky Top Dog Park!
