Comprised of 20 acres of fully fenced property, Shaggy Pines offers multiple fully fenced play spaces where off-leash play is encouraged and welcomed. Designed specifically with small dogs in mind, one enclosure has been designated as a play space exclusively for the use of dogs who are 30 pounds or less in weight. 

The Shaggy Hills property itself is a veritable wonderland of verdant, hilly terrain, pines, and vast open grassy spaces for dogs to enjoy. Also housed on the premises are two areas with dry ground for use on wet days and a one-mile trail suited to hiking, biking, or even running. 

Shaggy Hills Dog Park is a private facility which is available to members only. Memberships can be obtained in a variety of price points to suit any budget. The most popular package is the Gold Membership level. Available for $426 for the year with an additional $100 for each added dog, this package offers members the maximum impact when it comes to value. Platinum memberships which permit lifetime access to the park can be purchased for $1,278.00. 

For those wishing to visit only periodically, a $ 15-day pass can be purchased. Can't drive Fido out to daycare yourself? The Shaggy Shuttle provides door to door service with prices starting at $35 for members and $42 for non-members. 

Among the great amenities included at this doggy play haven are a swimming pond, a dog mountain designed for climbing and digging, the "Sunset Deck," water stations, self-serve dog bathing areas, a dog store, and a coffee bar and lounge. First-time visitors to Shaggy Pines must stop by the clubhouse for registration. At this time, documentation must be provided which shows proof of the following vaccinations: rabies, distemper, and bordetella. 

A negative fecal test taken within six months of registration is also required. It is mandatory for owners to have a leash on hand at all times. Shaggy Pines prohibits the use of choke or prong collars. Additionally, all male dogs over seven months of age must be neutered in order to enjoy the facilities.
