Don’t let this park’s name fool you, it’s not located in Utah. It’s actually in lovely Arlington, Virginia! It just gets its name from the nearby Utah Street. This pawsome dog park is the pawfect place to take your pooch when they are itching for some off leash fun!
As far as dog parks go, this one isn’t the largest space
your pooch will come across during their life. However, it’s got plenty of room
for them to let off steam. The can leave their leash at the gate, then dash
around and get their wiggles out. After checking out all the new smells, your
doggo can romp and wrestle with a new four legged friend or play a game of
chase.
The park’s ground is covered in gravel. This makes it
easy for pet parents to pick up their pup’s doggy debris. But since there is dirt
beneath the rocks, the park can get pretty muddy after a rainstorm. If you don’t
want a woofderful display of muddy paw prints in your car, bring a towel for
your pupster if you happen to visit on a rainy day. A few shade trees cast some
pupperific shadows, so there is a bit of relief from the sun. There is also a
covered pavilion with a couple picnic tables. Thirsty dogs will be happy to know
there is a water spigot with bowls. Make sure your pal takes plenty of drink
breaks!
When your pup is finished playing, clip their leash on
and take a spin around Utah Park. This four acre green space has an open grass
area your furry friend can sniff. Take a couple laps around the lawn so they
can cool down. Restrooms are available
at this park from April to October. Be sure to bring clean up bags and pick up any waste your pup leaved behind.
No bones about it, Utah Dog Park will make your dog’s
tail wag!
