Dogs can also come to this state park region, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay. During your time in this park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the state park system. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home.
All canines and their humans must be well-mannered before they come to the Waterloo Recreation Area as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior.
