Wildwood Dog Park & Beach

If your pup loves frolicking in the sand and surf, they'll surely have a barking good time at the Wildwood Dog Park and Beach! A favorite among locals and vacationers alike, this pawpular, Fido-friendly facility is a must-visit spot in the resort city of Wildwood!

You and your furry pal will find the Wildwood Dog Park and Beach between Glenwood and Maple Avenues. Four-legged guests are not allowed on the boardwalk from Memorial Day through Labor Day, so look for the entrance under the boardwalk at the end of the latter street. Once on the beach, you and Fido will be greeted by a fenced-in dog park where canine visitors are free to romp and socialize sans leash. You can't miss it, not with the bright red fire hydrant sculpture that stands 25 feet tall!

The dog run is divided into two sections: one for small pooches and another for large pups. Small dogs are not permitted in the large dog area, and large dogs may not go into the small dog area. Each side has its own obstacles and toys, and these are switched up regularly to keep things interesting! In the middle of the dog park is a gazebo offering a shaded spot for resting. Ample water and cleanup bags are provided as well in case you forgot to bring your own.

Outside the off-leash area, your pupper is welcome to stroll in the sand and play in the water as long as they are leashed. There's plenty of room to relax and soak up the sun with your best friend, so spread out a towel or rent some chairs. Wrap up the day with dinner at one of the nearby restaurants, which are also dog-friendly and give out treats to furry patrons.
