Wyoming Dog Park (at Marquette Park)

The Wyoming Dog Park is a membership-only dog park located at the Marquette Park in Wyoming, Minnesota. In addition to the dog park, this adventurous neighborhood park features a shooting range, playgrounds, soccer fields, basketball courts, public restrooms, and plenty of parking. 

The dog park is located at the northeast side of the park and has its own parking lot. It is quite popular among the dog owners living in the community due to its cleanliness, accessible location and size. The Wyoming Dog Park was opened in November 2007 and has instantly become a popular destination for dog owners living in the area for off-leash exercise and canine socialization. 

The space is over two acres in size and has two separate areas for dogs to enjoy without having to wear a leash. One section is for small dog breeds, while the second enclosure is meant to accommodate the bigger hounds. The separate areas mean that owners don't have to worry about their pooches getting trampled during playtime and socialize with those that they can keep up with. 

This off-leash dog park is lined with mature trees that provide a good amount of shade for canines to cool off in. It is also equipped with a canine drinking fountain to make sure dogs stay hydrated during their visit. Though most of the park’s terrain is grassy, there is a sand pile for dogs who love to dig, as well as a canine castle and a top dog bridge that dogs are welcome to climb and play on. 

The annual membership fee is $12 for Wyoming residents and $24 for non-residents, which is quite affordable in comparison to other paid and maintained dog parks. Plus, according to the regular patrons of the park, the dog park access is worth the investment. You just need to register to get the key card and start enjoying this beautiful, popular and well-maintained park!
