Considerations & Concerns

  • It seems to be hit or miss whether cats like these treats, according to the reviews
  • Some pet parents feel these treats are too hard and pointy

What pet parents say about Nulo Digestive Health Cat Treats

"Within a day of starting on these digestive treats, my 9 y.o. cat's stool was normal. I don't remember how many things I had tried to help with her severe IBD, probably at least 100, plus she was always sad because she couldn't eat her favorite dry food anymore. Also, once or twice a year, I would slip, and she would get into her brother's food, and have 6 weeks of diarrhea. Now if she accidentally gets some of his food, she's better in a day.

I wish it wasn't so expensive, so she only gets about 6 treats 3x a day, but that makes all the difference. And because they are crunchy, like the food she can't have, she is not sad all the time. I hope you will try this for any digestive issues, it's amazing."

What pet parents say about Get Naked Digestive Health Cat Treats

"These soft digestive chews are a hit with my long-haired cat who is prone to hairballs & constipation just as a result of grooming herself and ingesting her own fur, they have helped her produce firmer stools and she has less hairballs. They are also enjoyed by my snowshoe who had a history of loose and stinky stools, and I've seen a huge improvement now that she has 2 or 3 of thess treats daily. I have them on autoship, they're a little pricier than some other treats but they do the trick!"

"My two old cats (15 years) absolutely LOVE this treat. They both have trouble when it comes to wanting to eat sometimes but this treat is the one thing that's a consistent yes for them. One of my cats has never liked to eat the squeeze treats but this is the one exception for him. I know cats are picky so there's always going to be cats that don't like certain treats but these are definitely worth it to me! I just wish we could buy bigger pouches to feed multiple times because I just keep buying these. My old lady especially loves it!"

The New Zealand Natural Pet Food Co. Meow Lamb Green Tripe with Green-Lipped Mussel Freeze-Dried Cat Treat
Paw iconPaw iconPaw iconPaw iconHalf paw icon
4.5

These treats from The New Zealand Natural Pet Food Co. are a great way to get natural probiotics into your kitty.

These treats come in two flavors: green-lipped muscles and green lamb tripe. Green lamb tripe is especially good for sensitive tummies since it is high in protein, enzymes, and healthy bacteria.

The best part is these treats take all the goodness of green tripe and eliminate the main downside of feeding it — the odor!

The New Zealand Natural Pet Food Co. Cat Treats

Why Wag! Loves New Zealand Natural Pet Food Co. Cat Treats

  • Natural probiotics and digestive enzymes to help sensitive tummies
  • Features real, unbleached, grass-fed lamb tripe
  • Although green tripe usually has a pungent smell, these treats don't smell since they're freeze-dried

Considerations & Concerns

  • Expensive for the amount that comes in the packaging

What pet parents say about New Zealand Natural Pet Food Co. Cat Treats

"While I was looking for a healthy and beneficial alternative to raw food supplements, I found this freeze-dried green tripe treat. My cat King loves this, and although he's not a picky eater, it's one of the many treats we have that he never says no to.

Because of it being freeze-dried, the treats are soft and easy for your cat to eat. So if you have a senior cat with teeth or jaw issues, it shouldn't be a problem for them to chew and swallow.

If your cat doesn't like large chunks of food, you can break it into smaller pieces.

I would rather the price be slightly lower as I feel the density of the food is comparable to a bag of chips. Not enough bang for the buck. But I can afford it and I love to spoil King -- if you feel the same way, it's a good product."
