“On our second easy walk harness for our golden retriever, the smart system continues to work great. The first one is still in great condition but wanted to vainly change colors from black to tan for coat matching. Now we have a backup harness! It's easy to wash, hang dry, and readjust afterward. We do notice the main belly buckle is slightly more difficult to close/snap in place with the newer one and are hoping it will get easier with wear.”

“I've been on the lookout and hunt for a harness that was easy to put on, and I finally found one. This is a medium (NOT medium/large, just medium) and it's perfect for my 43 pound Wheaten Terrier. It's easy to guide him and it seems comfortable for him as we walk and run. I highly recommend this product.”

“I love your harness. My little girl ‘Dakota’, had a big cyst underneath her armpit on her right front leg. I needed a harness that didn't rub on the cyst, your product is perfect! It was hard to find one that would help Dakota not add to her discomfort. My vet even took a picture of the harness to show other pet owners a different way to help their pets! Thank you.”

“Bought this for our 30 lb mix. She is high energy and I used this harness to make sure she is comfortable and safe on the leash. The cut of the harness doesn't cut in to her ‘armpit’ area. Other harnesses have rubbed her poorly in this area. This harness doesn't. I like the top loop and the front loop. I ride a bike with her and she responded well to both options. With the rear attachment, she went in to ‘pull mode’ and got a great work out pulling me. When attached in front of the harness, she responded well and didn't pull. So far, this harness has been great.”

“I purchased this item multiple times for my 60 pound pitbull mix that loved to pull. It worked great to eliminate pulling. The only challenge I’ve run into is it’s relatively easy for the dog to chew through. Shouldn’t be an issue if you remove it immediately after walks.”

“I love this harness so much; I've used it with two dogs now, and while I've tried other harnesses, 2 Hounds Freedom No Pull is by far my favorite. The options of a front or top harness and a leash designed to clip on to either spot... OR BOTH... gives me options depending on where we are and how much control I need over my (enthusiastic) pup. I use both clips on the city streets and then once we're in the park I switch to one clip so my dog can have a longer leash.”

“Used these to walk my huskies. I have tried everything to help with pulling. My older husky (8) who is a notorious puller was walking next to me. The harness is secure under their front legs with a velvet strap and has a few hooks to walk the leash on.”

“I love these harnesses! I didn't want a plastic clip because they always seem cheap and break eventually. It took a couple times before I figured out how easy it is to clasp the metal clips into place. I've also recommended this harness to my coworker, which she has purchased and was very pleased with as well for her labradoodle. My 2 Rottweilers don't seem to mind their harnesses, when I bring them out, they get excited because it usually means they're going somewhere.”

“Was worried about this after reading some other reviews, but it isn't that hard to use. It is an 'over the head' harness and I wasn't sure if Ruby would be ok with that. But we were able to put it on and get it adjusted. We are only using this as a car harness, I'm not sure she would be comfortable going on walks with it. Hopefully we don't need to find out it's safety rating in real life!”

“​​Love that this harness has metal parts rather than plastic. All around very sturdy. Good looking. Not the easiest to put on a wiggly dog as the metal parts don't click together the way plastic ones will. But they much sturdier and I have no doubt they will last longer. My only complaint is that the snap which holds the rear strap in place has a tendency to unsnap causing the harness to slide around to the side. Doesn't affect it's usability. Likely due to the fact that my dog is a puller (that's why I use the front clip). The carabiner and strap for the car is easy to use, gives him enough leeway to move around a bit but gives me peace of mind. Also helps in that he can't jump out of the car as soon the door is opened. All in all a quality item just takes a bit of patience and getting used to.”

“Bought this hoping my dog would be comfortable and I would be able to handle her. She is half Jack Russel and very hyper. She gets out of every collar, and even climbs the fence, so I have to take her out on a leash. This harness is perfect. It seems to be comfortable, and no matter how hard she pulls, it is strong enough to hold her. She is learning slowly how to walk with me, and without this harness, I would have had a much harder time.”

“It's expensive, but it's worth it. Very adjustable to your dog. The fasteners are sturdy, the harness is slightly padded so I think it's comfortable. The adjustments stay put - I've had other harnesses where the fasteners slide and the straps get bigger and the dog could escape.

I throw it in the wash and it comes out great. Lasts a long time without looking shabby. Has front and top loops for the leash (I like [the] front, my husband uses the top.)”
