Aiea Town Center
Take your pup out for a great hike on the Aiea Loop Trail. This pawsome trail is 4.4-miles long with a 1,269-foot elevation climb, which will really let the two of you feel the burn. You will also be rewarded with a beautiful view of wildflowers and the Hawaii mountains that surround you. With a loop style route, you and Fido can't get lost on this great hike. Locals warn that if you're scared of heights, this may not be the hike for you since it does get high and narrow. The trail can get muddy at times, but it is lightly trafficked, giving you and Fido some alone time together.36

Moanalua Rd / Laulima St
If you and your pup are out and about and get a little hungry, stop into Big City Diner for a bite to eat. This dogtastic eatery offers a classic Hawaiian style diner with delicious and hearty dishes. Dixie Grill is a barbecue and crab shack that has unique flavors from both the island and the deep south. They offer bold dishes that will have your furry pal drooling for a bite. The Alley at Aiea Bowl has been featured on both the Travel Channel and the Food Network. This unique hot spot offers Asian-inspired flavors and dishes. All of these great restaurants offer dog friendly patios and welcome Fido to join you for a meal.24

Aiea Heights
The Napuanani Park is a great spot to take your pup out for a good walk and a fun day out. The park offers a picnic area, basketball courts, restrooms, plenty of shade from trees, and a cool view of the harbor. If Fido loves to run, then this is the park to take him to, since it is filled with a wide open lawn that he can run and play fetch on. He may have to share the space with free roaming chickens though! There is also a playground and volleyball court at this pawsome park.12

Kaahele St / Ainanui Loop
The Kaahele Park is a small area with not a ton of amenities, but is still a great place to hang out at with your furry friend. The park offers restrooms and a little shade from trees. Fido will love the wide open lawn and hills he can climb while visiting this park with you. There is a great walking path around the park where you and your dog can get a good walk in, but it is on a hill, so the two of you will have a bit of a climb. Don't forget water and clean-up bags when you visit.
