Wallhaven
Wallhaven has two parks worth visiting with your dog. Westlake Manor Park will captivate pups with things to see and smell. The large park serves the community with room for sports, picnics, and plenty of walking paths for leashed dogs and unleashed humans. Elm Hill Park nearby is a little less busy. There’s a small pond and plenty of its namesake elms. The neighborhood pup-friendly eatery is D’Agnese’s Trattoria and Cafe. This Italian restaurant has outdoor seating when the weather permits. Goodyear Heights
Goodyear Heighs Metro Park is THE place to be in Goodyear Heights. This park boasts over 400 acres of open space. The multi-use area is used for fishing, sledding, and year-round hiking and walking. There are several trails through the park, and the looped structure makes it easy for you to choose how long or short your walk is. Dogs must remain leashed inside the park, but the bounty of nature and wildlife makes it a great experience for dogs who crave more contact than barking at the neighborhood squirrel. Located right in Goodyear Heights, the metro park is a taste of nature without a commute.
