Stow Road
Stow is another city in Summit County, and it's home to about 35,000 people. The northeastern quadrant of the city is 30 miles from Clinton, and that's where you'll find Bow Wow Beach. This incredible dog park sits on more than seven acres, and it surrounds a five-acre lake. Whether your dog wants to swim or run around on the grass, there are options for both. There are also separate spaces just for small dogs, and wash basins where you can clean up your pet. Bow Wow Beach is a safe and well-maintained off-leash space, and it includes doggy waste stations, seating areas, and double-gated entryways.36

Windfall
In less than half an hour, you and your doggo can drive to eastern Medina, Ohio, where you'll find Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park. This 102-acre county park has a three-acre lake, as well as three separate hiking trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, and an off-leash dog park. The Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Dog Park has a one-acre small dog section and a six-acre area just for big dogs. There's also a pond in the dog park where dogs can take a dip, and there are walking trails, grassy play areas, and sections with an artificial turf surface to stop the park from getting so muddy. Don't forget to bring drinking water for Skip!24

East Reagan Parkway
There's another park in Medina you won't want to miss, and this one is in the city's northeastern quadrant, which is a 35-minute drive from Clinton. Memorial Park makes up almost 11 acres of land, and in that space, there are playgrounds, pavilions, sledding hills, a disc golf course, and an off-leash dog park. The Memorial Dog Park is a 146' x 115' enclosure where dogs can play without being leashed. Within the dog park, there's a separate space just for small dogs so they can play with dogs their own size. Just outside of the dog park fence, there's a water fountain, so don't forget to bring a bowl.12

North Hill
North Hill is a large residential and commercial neighborhood in northern Akron, Ohio, and it's less than a half-hour drive from Clinton. On the western edge of the community, you'll find Cascade Valley Park. This metro park has multiple trails where you can walk your dog on a leash, as well as soccer fields, picnic sites, and fishing locations. There's also an off-leash dog park in Cascade Valley Park -- Akron Dog Park. This dog park has a small dog area, an all dog area, and lots of agility equipment. There is also fresh drinking water available in the warmer months of the year, in addition to waste disposal stations, seating areas, and double-gated entries.
