The park is located in southern Canal Futon, down by the Tuscarawas River. Your pet will treasure the opportunity to trot in this fenced-in space! The park includes two areas: one for small dogs and another one for larger breeds. The grass-covered ground will be gentle on your pooch’s paws. Fresh water is available in the park, and there are many benches and picnic tables for the pet pawrents.

West Steels Corners

Another option that you can explore in the vicinity of North Canton is the Keyser Dog Park. Just 26 miles north of North Canton, this park grants canine visitors 2 acres of fenced off-leash area. The ground is covered in grass and the plot is enriched with numerous trees that provide shade over the park. This place is quieter than most of the dog parks in the area, so it is suitable for those of you who have shy pups or want to avoid crowded parks. Although the park is open at night, there aren’t any lights when it gets dark, so it's not suitable for evening visits.

Cascade Valley Park

Twenty miles away from North Canton, in Cascade Valley Park, is Akron Dog Park. This park is another fenced, off-leash park where your dog can sniff out some new canine buddies! It provides a double-gated entrance system which keeps all dogs safe -- even the runners. The park is pretty spacious and has multiple benches so the human parents can look over their precious fur babies. In addition, there is a watering station within the park and some agility equipment that your pup can train on. The ground is mostly grass, and there are waste stations so you can help keep the park clean.

East Massillon

Furnas Dog Park is almost 10 miles away from North Canton, and it is located in East Massillon. Like most dog parks, this fenced, off-leash park has a small dog area and a large dog area. Even though the park is mostly covered in grass, there are some places that can get muddy when it rains, so you'd better bring a towel to wipe up your pooch. Make a note to bring your own water since there isn’t any in the park. The large trees cover this park with a nice, thick layer of shade, perfect for the warm sunny days!

Willow Brook Heights

The closest and one of the best parks near North Canton is a dog heaven called Veterans Park Dog Park. The park is just 3 miles from the center of North Canton, and it is a fenced off-leash park. For the small puppers, there is a 1.5-acre area, and a 2.5-acre section for the larger breeds. There is access to fresh water, and the numerous trees provide plenty of shade in the park. In both areas, you can find agility equipment where your pup can train and play. The park also provides 6 doggie showers, and there's also a parking lot nearby so you won't have to hunt for a spot.
