Every pooch loves a trip to the park, so make sure that you drop by Armory Park when you are in Port Clinton! Here your pup will love to roam on the open grass, and there are a few trees that provide shade when it hot outside. There are also some benches here where you can relax in the sunshine with your furry friend. If you get hungry, head to McCarthy’s for a bite to eat. This pawsome Irish Pub serves up some delicious grub, which includes burgers, wings, wraps, sandwiches and seafood. Of course, this puptastic place is dog friendly, which means there are tables outside you can sit at with your canine – bone-a-petit!

When you are in Port Clinton, be sure to head to Adams Street Park! Here there is green space for your canine to roll and roam, as well as trees that provide plenty of shade when it is hot outside. There are also some amenities you can use here, including a gazebo and benches. For comfortable accommodation when you are in Port Clinton, stay at the pawsome Super 8! Here you are welcome to bring two furry friends of any size, and there are no additional fees to pay. Another puptastic place is the Best Western, where you can bring two pups weighing up to 80 lbs for no additional fee for your stay.

To enjoy an adventure with your furry friend, head to the Lakefront Marina! This pawsome place in Port Clinton is on Lake Erie where you can have a fun day with all of the family. There is plenty of open green space for your beloved companion to roll and roam, or a game of fetch with your pup’s favorite toys. Of course, you can spend the afternoon here watching the boats, or cast a line and try your hand at fishing. When you are visiting the Lakefront Marina, there is a carpark that you can use. Keep your pup leashed in this public area.

Lakeside Marblehead
For a pawsome day out with your pup, head on over to Lakeside Marblehead! This puptastic place is only 10 miles from Port Clinton, and is home to the East Harbor State Park. Here you can enjoy exploring this 1800 acre park with your furry friend on the shores of Lake Erie. Explore the sniff-tastic hiking trails together, as well as take the oppawtunity to go fishing, boating and picnicking. All canines can be top dog here, as long as he or she remains on leash. If you get hungry, head to the Hidden Beach Bar for a bite to eat! Get your paws into some delicious burgers, sandwiches and an ice-cold beer. There are outdoor dog friendly tables along the harborside.
Marblehead
Not far from Port Clinton, you will find the pawsome puptown of Marblehead! You can enjoy a puptastic trip to the Marblehead Lighthouse State Park with your beloved companion, as it is dog friendly and offers plenty of outdoor activities you will love. There are some sniff-tastic trails that you can follow and enjoy some exercise with your pup, while admiring the views of the Marblehead Lighthouse, Lake Erie and the South Bass Island. You are also able to climb up the lighthouse. All furry friends are welcome at Marblehead Lighthouse State Park, as long as he or she remains on leash during your visit.
