Downtown Huron is a cultural and educational center offering recreational areas across the river, as well as shopping venues and cafes with picturesque bay views. If you're in the city with your pooch, don't hesitate to go straight to the east bank of the Huron River along Nickle Plate Beach. Pay attention to restrictions and dog hours to avoid any mishaps. The spot offers amazing views of sunsets and sunrises, picnic shelters and an extensive play area. Bring your leashed pooch for a walk along the shoreline and let him dip his paws in the crystal clear water. Need to grab a bite? I-5’s Bar and Grill right across from the church is a nice and cozy place to share a meal with your pup after a fun day at the beach!
