Havre’s Woods

There are also some furrific amenities at Havre’s Woods, which includes softball fields, soccer fields and a playground for the kids. There is also a pavilion at Havre’s Woods, which provides some shelter from the sun and has picnic tables and grills for enjoying a treat.

Every pooch has got to get his or her daily exercise, which means a wander along the Portage Hike and Bike Trail is in order when you are in Ravenna! This is a pawsome 9.8 mile trail that you can explore with your furry friend. Along the way, you will pass through quiet woods that are a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city, as well as sniff-tastic meadows, and some parts of the trail are even next to a railroad. Don’t forget to look out for the ancient Native American burial mound that you will find on the shores of Lake Pippen on your journey. Since bikes can use the Hike and Bike Trail, it may be best to keep your pup on his or her leash.
