The Kokomo section is just a small part of this 36.9-mile rail-trail, which runs along the former corridor of the Peru & Indianapolis Railroad. You can relax on a shaded bench while you watch your pup play. Water is provided here; you’ll just need to bring waste bags. Be sure to bring a leash, too, because this park has an access point for the Cardinal Greenway, a paved walking trail that your leashed pup is welcome to explore. You’ll need to purchase a membership, and show proof that your dog has been spayed or neutered and has a current rabies vaccination.
