You can easily access this 16-mile rail trail at the Stacy trailhead, located just a paw off the I-35 exit. This trail crosses over farmland, wetland areas, woody forests, and residential neighborhoods in the small surrounding towns and cities. You just might get the chance to see an abundance of wildlife, such as wild turkey, deer, grouse and waterfowl, not to mention the beautiful wildflowers and prairie! Also, you will undoubtedly pass by Stacy’s nearby Mud Lake, where you and your pal can enjoy a day of fishing.
