Scenically situated on White Bear Lake, the residential neighborhood of White Bear Lake offers fast access to Interstate 35E and Interstate 694. The actual Bear Lake (not the neighborhood) offers fishing, boating and other activities, but the best part is they have a designated dog beach on location! Dogs are free to walk the shore of the lake and even swim in it as long as they remain in the doggie area. If all that swimming worked up an appetite, Washington Square Bar and Grill and Olives Fresh Pizza Bar loves dogs and lets them dine outside with their parents.

North Oaks

This is a community that offers both easy access, privacy, and plenty of outdoor recreational activities nearby! Bald Eagle-Otter Lakes Regional Park is one of those activities where you can choose to go boating, fishing, hiking or accompany your pup while he has fun off-leash at the dog park! The pup park is plotted on 12 acres and is partially fenced in, has a small dog area, and off-leash trails. If you’re looking for lodging that accommodates canines, Best Western, AmericInn, and Airbnb provide dog-friendly options in the North Oaks area.

Stillwater

Overlooking both the Saint Croix River and the Minnesota/Wisconsin border, this suburban neighborhood offers riverfront views, good restaurants, and local shopping. North Vineyards Winery invites humans and dogs to enjoy their winery, vineyards, deck and tasting room! For some water front dining that is also dog-friendly, The Freight House, Leo’s Grill & Malt Shop, and Luna Rossa Trattoria all overlook the Saint Croix River where they also allow dogs to dine on their patio. Carnelian Junction

Just a short 10-minute drive north east of Grant, the community of Carnelian Junction is a spacious and tight knit neighborhood that backs up to Big Carnelian Lake and Pine Point Regional Park. Pine Point Regional Park provides residents and guests with the opportunity to get in touch with nature and get some great exercise with over five miles worth of trails, including ski trails, horseback riding trails, and hiking trails! Dogs that are well behaved, on-leash, and cleaned up after are always welcome to accompany their human companions.

Lino Lakes

Lino Lakes is a beautiful community that is easily accessible from Interstate 35 W, and Interstate 35E. The neighborhood itself is only 13 miles northwest of Grant and is surrounded by Centerville Lake, Peltier Lake, Reshaunau Lake, Rice Lake, Marshan Lake, and George Watch Lake. Nearby Rice Creek North Regional Park offers camping and hiking along the many lakes that surround the area; leashed dogs are allowed to walk the trails and enjoy the views with their owners.
