Warrenton is a small but up-and-coming community.  It benefits from the urban sprawl of the St. Louis Metropolitan area.  One veterinary clinic operates within its boundaries.  Dozens of veterinary clinics providing emergency and specialty care are just a short drive away along Highway 70.

The city takes care of the recreational needs of the residents.  Its seven public parks have many amenities for person and pup alike.  Brinkley Woods Park has more than 35 acres of green space for a person and a leashed canine companion to check out.  In addition to green space, Brinkley has a playground, pavilion, picnic sites complete with BBQ pits, a hiking trail, and a fishing lake.

For those visiting or just passing through, Warrenton has many options for lodging with your furry family member.  The Super 8 is on the North Service Road.  If you are traveling with up to two pups, Super 8 has a room for you, and it doesn't place size limitations on your four-legged traveling friends.  There is a small additional charge of $15 per dog per night.  The Holiday Inn Express also welcomes you and up to two of your fur-babies of any size for an additional charge of $25 per dog per night.

Warrenton has plans in the works for a new park, which will include the addition of a dog park.  It is a place that is growing in a dog-friendly direction!
