My name is Linda and I've been working as a dog walker for about 10 years in San Francisco and Los Angeles. From volunteering at my local animal shelter in high school to working at a grooming salon and fostering dogs, I have a lot of experience working with dogs. I have a senior rescue pup and am skilled in administering subcutaneous fluids as well as giving various types of medications. I love dogs and they love me!

Hi! My name is Rebecca and I am an animal lover by nature. I grew up surrounded by animals and raised a Border-Collie mix pup to live a long, healthy and happy 16 years! I have walked dogs, house-sat, and cared for all kinds of pets for over 16 years. Obedience classes & agility training courses were part of the growing up process with my own dog, Sara. Mostly we had a fun, goofy time just playing. She went everywhere with me! Since she passed away, I take any chance I can to be around my canine pals. I've always had an affinity for dogs large & small, with boundless energy or a calm disposition. I know how important it is to have your dog(s) well-cared for while you are busy or traveling so I am here to help! I am always up for a leisurely stroll in the neighborhood, brisk walk or challenging hike. Whatever your needs are I can meet them. I feel very fortunate to be able to walk a variety of dogs. It would be my great pleasure to meet your dog and make a new friend!

Berkeley is a city full of pet lovers – just open a history book for the proof. In 1979, the first dog park in the United States opened in Berkeley. Originally called the “Experimental Dog Park,” today the Martha Scott Benedict Memorial Park is still unique from other dog parks across the country.
Instead of being a dog run in a separate park, this park is truly a full-size park that includes dogs. There are tons of amenities for owners, like benches and shade pavilions. The dog park also has unique quiet hours, in the early morning and late at night, that help make the space agreeable to those in the nearby neighborhood while still providing excellent opportunities for owners to take their pets off-leash. In addition, the local Cesar Chavez Park has an off-leash dog run.
Berkeley has unique rules that permit dogs being off-leash in undeveloped areas, if the owners carry a leash, and the dogs are under voice control. The Tilden Regional Park is one of the best local areas for off-leash play, as it covers almost 2,000 acres of beautiful forest and lakes. Dogs are even allowed to play on the beaches in non-swim areas. For an extra special adventure, take your on-leash dog to ride the miniature train located in the park!
When it comes to culture and trend-setting community, few towns can surpass the qualities of Berkeley, CA. An up and coming neighborhood, North Berkeley is the perfect spot to enjoy with friends of the two and four-legged variety. Take a stroll or a jog through Ohlone Park with Fido leading the way. The well-groomed paths are perfect for burning off that excess energy. To wrap things up, unclip your doggy companion’s leash in scenic Ohlone Dog Park and watch them howl with joy. This fully fenced space is well maintained by residents and the city alike and features plenty of benches for owners to rest their paws while their canine friends frolic away in Berkley’s fabulous weather.
Northwest Berkeley is an up and coming suburb of the major college town of Berkeley, California, that is undergoing a huge renaissance in shopping, dining, breweries, small businesses and more. The popular San Pablo-Gilman corridor, long known for its auto body and repair stores, is now attracting numerous storefronts, many of which are the perfect spot for taking a stroll or enjoying the beautiful weather with your canine companion on an outdoor patio. Picante Cocina Mexicana, located along 8th street, is the perfect spot to snag some grub for you and a bowl of water for Fido on the outdoor patio. Head west and you just may find the Bay to Barkers Dog Walk and Festival Fundraiser, an annual event that raises money for local doggy-centric charities while letting both you and your pooch work off those chips and guac.
Berkeley Hills is a scenic and charming residential district conveniently located just north of the UC Berkeley campus. Home to students, staff and working professionals alike, the suburban feel includes numerous yards, small parks and even doggie waste stations; a handy find when you manage to leave the house without Fido’s doggie bags! For a change of scenery, head up to Indian Rock Park. You’ll find sprawling meadows and even a few short hiking trails, perfect for working in that morning exercise for both you and your pooch. Just a touch south, the Berkeley Rose Gardens and Berryman Reservoir are a great spot for an on-leash romp, or just stopping to smell the plentiful flowers while you and your dog get out and get socialized.
