The Mason Mill Park was reopened on February 2012. This park basically has everything - kid’s playground, gardens, five tennis courts, walking trails and of course, a dog park! The revamped dog park features separate areas for small and huge dogs enclosed by a five ft. Fence totaling ½ acre in size with water fountains in each area.

Taj Ma-Hound is a doggie bakery that uses all natural ingredients for treats in all shapes, sizes, and flavors. The owner together with her furry assistants Pip and Coco created the Pea-Mutt Utter and serve doggie donuts and free doggie ice cream on certain days. Taj Ma-Hound got 4 out of 4 paws, unanimously winning “Best Treats” in the Southeast from Atlanta Magazine.

A mixture of a traditional small-town atmosphere and the sophistication and excitement of a college town, along with all the benefits of living in a major metropolitan area makes Decatur your hip hometown away from home.
