I've been living with animals my entire life. Most recently, with Reyka, a six-year-old Staffordshire terrier. I'm retired and she is my constant companion - we're like Red and Rover, from the comics. We walk the CA trails, and hike county and state parks. Wincopin is a favorite. Last summer I started volunteering at Howard County Animal Control, the local dog and cat shelter. I love it. I exercise and socialize the dog and cats so they're better prepared for their forever home. I've worked with literally hundreds of dogs of all sizes. More than one person has said "that dog really loves you" to me. It is so rewarding to help a family pick out a new pet and watch as they take it home. I have experience with a professional dog walking service. They taught me to do the little things - refilling water, cleaning up small messes even if I didn't make them, turning on/off lights to welcome you home, etc. I can scoop/change cat litter. I can give insulin shots to dogs and cats.

I'm Alex and I'm a 25-year old Graphic Design student. I look forward to getting to know your pup as we go out for a nice walk this summer. I'm very loving towards all animals, and have found that friend's pets gravitate towards me, even when the pet isn't typically friendly. I will always be gentle and loving with your pup, but I am quick to identify a potentially dangerous situation and will always be ready to keep your pup safe. My goal is to build trust with any pup I work with and make sure we have a common understanding between us.

Hi, my name is Erin. I absolutely love dogs! I’ve had two dogs growing up - a chow/terrier mix named Trisha and a Yorkshire Terrier named Chase. In college, I was a volunteer dog walker my entire freshman year. I also was a nanny for 3.5 years that allowed me to dog sit, for a boxer/hound mix - named Pete, on the weekends when they were away. I've been with him since he was 10 weeks old. This is a great & fun opportunity for me and I can’t wait to meet you dog!
