Hi! My name is Wendy. I love dogs, but who among us doesn't, right?! I have experience with dogs from a wide range breeds, sizes, and temperaments. After growing up with dogs on our farm, I volunteered at animal shelters, worked at a pet store for two years, and completed a certified dog training program. “I'll care for your dog like my own!”

Hi, I'm Sandy! I live in Montgomery Village, MD, and will be walking dogs in the Gaithersburg/Rockville/Germantown area. I've been a volunteer at the MDSPCA for 23 years, so I have a LOT of experience with dogs. I've volunteered in the kennel, wellness clinic, spay/neuter clinic, and I currently volunteer in the exam room, so I've handled all kinds of dogs in all kinds of situations, and I know how to keep them calm and remove stress from new situations. I look forward to walking your dog!

Dog Walking in Tuscarora

Tuscarora is a tiny community of less than 100 people in Frederick County, Maryland, near the Maryland/Virginia border and the Potomac River. There's a beautiful creek that runs through this community known as Tuscarora Creek, and the area was named after it. Tuscarora mainly consists of farming land and farmhouses, and pet owners often have very large spaces for their dogs to run and play. There isn't a veterinary clinic within Tuscarora, but there are some in the surrounding areas, including equine services for all of the horses in the area.

There isn't a designated off-leash dog area in Tuscarora, but a portion of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Historic National Park Trail runs through town, and it's a pawesome place to walk your dog. This trail was once a railway line that was converted into one of 1,600 trails that span America. This particular portion of the trail stretches for more than 184 miles, some of which is in Tuscarora. The trail is also referred to as the C & O, and it's a pawpular spot for dog walkers, hikers, and bikers. Along the trail, you'll come across plenty of beautiful scenery as well as cafes, shops, and historical landmarks.

Tuscarora is a lovely small town just a short distance from many dog-friendly activities you and your pet are sure to enjoy together!

The Leesburg Dog Park recently underwent an expansion, and added a section just for small dogs under 25 pounds. The park also provides visitors with seating and shade, but guests are advised to bring their own water. There is some grass in this park, but most of the ground is now mulch that is well-maintained by conscientious visitors.
