Milestone
Milestone is a Germantown community bordering with Clarksburg on the north. Here, you can enjoy the best of both worlds -- Milestone is home to natural spaces where you can relax and reconnect, as well as a well-developed commercial area serving locals and tourists alike. Your number one destination should be Ridge Road Recreational Park, offering multi-purpose fields and a dog park for your convenience. The dog park is a pawpular place for the local dog owners to enjoy a good chat and let their canine companions find some new buddies or play with old friends. The park features about an acre of fenced, grassy space. However, there's little seating here and water isn't provided.

Black Hill Regional Park
Located less than 5 miles from Clarksburg, Black Hill Regional Park is nestled on the banks of Cabin Ranch, Little Seneca Creek, and belongs to the rural area of Boyds. This is a great place for casual walkies and exercise, but be aware of bikes! The trails here are shared with cyclists. This park has plenty of picturesque spots and paths to the water, but your pup will go mutts for the fenced-in dog park! At the Black Hill Regional Dog Park, you're free to let your pooch off their leash to play and exercise in a special, designated area with about an acre of open space, lots of shade and a simple agility course.

South Gaithersburg
The southern part of Gaithersburg skilfully maintains the balance between an urban lifestyle and rural areas, so whether you consider yourself a city slicker or an outdoorsman, you're sure to love this neighborhood! The fun starts right after you pass Malcolm King Park and a colorful shopping area to the east. Green Park features two fenced areas where you can play and train with your pooch. One area is mostly grass while the other is gravel. Green Park Dog Exercise Area has plenty of space to run and romp off-leash, as well as seating and drinking water fountains.

Cabin John Regional Park
The northwestern part of Bethesda is primarily occupied by rural spots and plenty of recreation areas. Cabin John Regional Park welcomes leashed pups to explore more than 9 miles of natural walking trails and enjoy the soothing atmosphere of a wooded suburban park. Do we need to mention that this place also features a cool dog park? Of course we do! That's the most important part! This fenced dog park has two separate areas for large and small breeds. Cabin John Dog Park is one of the hippest places in Bethesda to have some active outdoor adventures and make new canine friends at the same time!

Georgia Avenue South
South Olney is a rural area with plenty of open spaces, cozy residential quarters, and a few significant recreation areas set near Anscroft Township. Olney Manor Recreational Park is a great place for dog owners and pooches who need to get outside and stretch their legs. The park has an enormous area for off-leash playtime, which is separated into different areas for small and large dogs. There is enough space for everyone, whether you want to socialize with others or exercise on your own! Keep in mind that there are only a few benches and no drinking water facilities for pups.
