review

One of my pups is very anxious & doesn't like strangers. He went to Mary fairly well & she was able to get my boy out for a walk. My other pup was Mary's bff by the time their Express Walk was through.

Libbs Lake

Libbs Lake

The Jidana Park in the Libbs Lake neighborhood is a great place to take your dog to get away from it all. This park emphasises walking trails. Your leashed pup will love the opportunity to get lost in nature without ever leaving Minnetonka. There’s also a bow range in the park, so be mindful of crossing into that area--but don’t worry too much, as it’s clearly marked! You should bring your own supply of water and a bowl for your dog to drink from, since the trails can take you far from the park’s central area.

Ridgedale

Ridgedale

Doggie dining doesn’t get finer than Ridgedale in Minnetonka. If you’re craving a delicious lunch or dinner out, but you wouldn’t dream of eating anywhere that doesn’t accept your best friend, Ridgedale has two great options in the same neighborhood. Start with eccentric, upscale pub fare from Bar Louie. They have a 30 table outdoor seating area perfect for hosting your dog. You could also go to Avenida Cocina & Bar for playful and inventive Mexican/Asian fusion cuisine. From Kung Pao Tacos to Chicken Teriyaki Enchiladas, this restaurant pushes the boundaries of flavor. It also has a comfortable outdoor seating area for guests with dogs.

Glen Lake/Lakeside

Glen Lake/Lakeside

Kinsel Park in this neighborhood is a great space for a quick walk in nature with access to Glen Lake. It also has wooded walking trails. It’s not large, but following a few paths through the trees can make it feel bigger than it is. Your dog should be on leash in the park, which is also popular with joggers and cyclists! Bring your own water and a doggie bowl, since this nature park is light on drinking fountains. If you have a dog who loves to watch squirrels and birds, Kinsel Park is popular with wildlife spotters too!

South Hopkins

South Hopkins

Lone Lake Park is a fantastic place to bring dogs who like to cover a lot of ground. The park has many excellent features, including BBQ pits and a playground, but dogs will adore its walking and jogging paths. These trails run close to the water to give a fantastic view of the lake. They also wind through wooded areas to provide some shade during your workout. You can choose the paths yourself, so this can be an easy amble through the woods or a longer, brisk jog by the water. There’s a path for every fitness level and time frame.

Auburn

Auburn

Meadow Park is a community hub that’s equally good for a twenty minute walk or an all day romp with your best friend. Take the trails through Meadow Park to work off some of your dog’s energy. Leashed dogs are welcome in the park, and you can make the most of it by following the paths around the sports fields, playscape, and the outdoor ice hockey rink. If you want to take it slow, go ahead and enjoy the park, especially the gazebo and picnic areas! Bring a doggie bowl so your dog can enjoy the cool drinking fountains.
