W Broad St
Tothe west side of Cedar Point is the woofderful City of Swansboro. Take a short drive across the bridge to head into the W Broad Street neighborhood. From here, wag to the wooftastic Bicentennial Park which features beautiful water views and benches from which to enjoy them! There's also a statue of Captain Otoway Burns at the center, and a boardwalk to further enjoy the White Oak River and Swansboro Harbor. If you don't want to leave the scenic views, but are in dire need of yummy food, then why not enjoy both at the Ice House Waterfront Restaurant! Doggoes are welcome on the front porch tables, but make sure to snatch a seat early before they fill up. The menu includes fresh seafood, spring rolls, flatbread, and more!12

Deer Run
The City of Swansboro just next door to Cedar Point is a beautiful place to visit and is only a quick trip away by car across the bridge. Take Fido to the Deer Run neighborhood to enjoy the Riverview Park and the Pirates Den Park. Enjoy a stroll along the elevated boardwalk over the marshes at the Riverview Park. Make sure to stay and catch the sunset reflecting off the beautiful water! The Pirates Den Park is more of a family-friendly park, featuring a nautical-themed playground for small children.
