As a suburb of Charlotte, Cramerton is just a short drive from all of the amenities of the big city. Just outside the Wessex Square neighborhood, there's a place called William R. Davie Regional Dog Park, and it's less than a half-hour drive from Cramerton. Davie Dog Park is a five-acre off-leash space that includes an area for dogs 20 pounds and under, as well as a section for bigger dogs. You'll find water stations, waste disposal supplies, benches, and shade in this park. There are also plastic pools set up for dogs to cool off in, so be sure to bring a towel to dry your dog off at the end of your visit.

The Wesley Heights area of central Charlotte is only 20 minutes from Cramerton. Frazier Park is a 16.5-acre park that has sports fields, playgrounds, greenway trails, and its own dog park! Frazier Dog Park is a 1.3-acre off-leash park with big and small dog sections. There are bowls and a water fountain in the park, as well as waste disposal supplies, benches, and plastic pools in the big dog section. The park is open every day from 7:30 AM to sunset, and your dog can also join you on the greenway trails in Frazier Park if they're on a leash.

The northwestern Charlotte area of Mountain Island is also where you'll find Shuffletown Park, and it's only 20 minutes from Cramerton. Shuffletown Park has volleyball courts, baseball fields, a playground, a soccer field, and an off-leash dog park! The Shuffletown Dog Park is a four-acre space with big and small dog sections, and part of the park has plenty of trees for shade. There are doggy clean-up stations and drinking water in the park, as well as seating and a walking path for pet parents, too. If you'd like your dog to join you in other areas of Shuffletown Park, they're welcome to do so if they're on a leash.

Less than a ten-minute drive away, George Poston Park is sure to become a new favorite place of yours and your dog's! George Poston Park has all sorts of facilities and activities your family can enjoy, from playgrounds and sports fields to trails and even a dog park! The George Poston Dog Park includes a 4.5-acre big dog section and a one-acre section for little dogs. George Poston Park is open from 7 AM to sunset each day, and your dog can join you on the seven miles of trails in the park as well, as long as they're on a leash.

A paradise for dogs and their owners awaits you in northeastern Fort Mill, South Carolina, and it's only a half-hour drive from Cramerton. The Mary Warner Mack Dog Park has everything you could ever dream of in a dog park. Its 12 acres include a section just for small dogs, as well as a general area for all dogs. There's also a mile-long off-leash trail that leads you to a lakefront where your dog can swim! Mary Warner Mack Dog Park also has dog wash stations, waste disposal supplies, water fountains, and seating. There's a small membership fee required to join this park, and it's certainly worth the investment!
