Downtown Fort Mill is home to Hobo’s, a local restaurant that’s popular with the people of Fort Mill. This restaurant serves up delicious, made-to-order burgers alongside mouthwatering milkshakes and craft beer. The best part? Your four-legged friend can join you while you eat. Hobo’s has a spacious patio where your dog can dine with you. Hobo’s will even give your dog some water, but don’t expect that to stop your pooch from wanting your burger! Can you resist the temptation to give your canine companion “just a bite”? A leash is required, as is good behavior.

New Gray Rock Road
Fort Mill’s New Gray Rock Road neighborhood is home to Central Bark Dog Park; try saying that three times fast! This off-leash dog park is completely fenced in, allowing your dog to run around and explore while making pawesome new friends. Although this dog park is small, locals say that it’s usually not too busy, so there’s plenty of room for your dog to get his exercise. There are plenty of benches for pup parents to relax on. A membership is required to use this dog park. You’ll also need to bring your own water and waste disposal bags.

Anne Springs Close Greenway
Anne Springs Close Greenway is home to Mary Warner Mack Dog Park, but this isn’t just any dog park! MWM Dog Park, as it’s referred to by locals, spans twelve acres, allowing your dog plenty of room to run around and get in his daily exercise. There’s a separate space for smaller dogs, allowing your dog to comfortably make friends his own size. If you want to get in some exercise alongside your canine companion, there’s also a mile-long trail within the dog park. There’s also a dog-washing station in case your furry friend gets dirty while having fun. Water and waste disposal bags are provided.

Eastway
If you drive thirty minutes north of Fort Mill, you’ll end up in Charlotte’s Eastway neighborhood, and your dog will thank you for making the trip! Barkingham Park, located within Reedy Creek Park, is a popular dog park that’s sure to be fun for your pawesome friend. There are two separate areas of the park; one is for smaller dogs, while the other is for larger dogs. Water is provided for your pets, but you’ll need to bring your own waste disposal bags. This park can become quite muddy when it rains, so bring along a towel to wipe your dog off with! The surrounding park also offers short hiking trails where Fido can join you. While a leash isn’t required for the dog park, one is required on the trails.

Frazier Park Charlotte
Located around thirty minutes north of Fort Mill is Charlotte’s Frazier Park, located just outside of downtown Charlotte. Frazier Park is home to the aptly-named Frazier Dog Park, where your dog is sure to have plenty of fun running around and meeting new four-legged friends. This off-leash dog park is completely fenced in, and it’s free and open to the public. There are designated sections for small and large dogs, so make sure to choose the right one. Waste disposal bags are not provided, and neither is water, so you’ll need to bring along your own for you and your pooch. Locals advise that parking can be hard to find.
