Hi to all dog owners! My name is Caroline and I am a full time dog walker and pet sitter! I have always worked in animal care, starting in holistic pet shops when I was 16, and then I was a veterinary technician for almost 14 years! Hi, my name is Tyler and I'm from San Jose, California. I've been around dogs of all sizes my whole life but have owned labs and a boxer pointer mix. I have dog sat, boarded, and walked multiple dogs over the last two years for family and friends. Some of the breeds I have watched are shitzu, labrador retriever, and English mastiff. I am looking forward to meeting your furry friends!
“Full-time pet caretaker (& pet lover & cuddler)”
Hello, I’m Kelsey! I have always been a MAJOR dog lover. When I was really young, I used to wish for a pet puppy each year as I blew out my birthday candles. My wish came true in 2003 with a rescued papillon mix, and since then I have owned three wonderful dogs. In 2010, I started walking and "dog-sat" for a variety of breeds- everything from chihuahuas and dachshunds to pit bulls and boxers! I cannot wait to meet your fur-baby and give them all the exercise and attention that they need!

“Let’s pack snacks and make tracks!”
I’ve always loved dogs! I’ve had a lot of experience with learning to train my personal dogs. I volunteered at a local shelter in my city, and I often foster dogs as well. I had to give emergency birth to two liters of puppies for an elderly neighbor and after the second one I paid to have her dog altered. My three boys are my life. They are the most perfect fur babies I could have been paired with! I can’t wait to me YOUR furmily! I have been away from Wag! for a long time, but I’m back!

My pets are my children. When I got my dog 9 years ago, I took every step to train her properly and make sure she received the care and attention she needed. I can’t imagine life without pets. I’m often the person that bonds easily with animals everywhere I go.

Fairview is in the county of Buncombe, and was founded when Martin Gash bought 76-acres of land on Cripple Creek in November of 1793. Fairview is home to twenty wonderful veterinarians that you can take Fido to for a healthy checkup, making Fairview a great spot to take your furry friend.
If Your pup is itching for a walk or run, then head to one of the fabulous parks that Fairview has to offer. Check out Weaver Park, which features lighted ball fields, basketball courts, a playground, tennis courts, picnic areas, a walking trail, and restrooms. Kenilworth Park is another great spot, and offers a playground, and a lot of open grass for you and Fido to play fetch on.
After exploring all day, both you and Fido will probably be hungry. Fairview is home to the Whistle Hop Brewing, a dog friendly restaurant that welcomes your furry companion to come and dine with you. Whistle Hop Brewing has an American and European inspired menu and craft beers. Their restaurant is inside of a refurbished Norfolk and Western railroad caboose and welcomes dogs both inside and outside of their restaurant.
The Deer Run neighborhood is only ten minutes out of Fairview in Asheville and home to a plethora of dog friendly restaurants for you and Fido to check out. Tupelo Honey Cafe offers delicious Southern classic dishes with a modern spin. Barberitos is a Southwestern grill and cantina that serves burritos, bowls, and tacos. Panera offers delicious sandwiches, soups, and salads, plus bakery fresh items like cookies. These are just a few of the tasty restaurants you and Fido can visit together in the Deer Run neighborhood. All of these restaurants have dog friendly patios and welcome Fido to dine with you.
Eleven miles out of Fairview is the Azalea Dog Park in Asheville. This pawsome dog park is perfect to take your furry friend to for some off leash fun. The park is 155-acres and is one of the top parks in Asheville. There are two separate areas in the dog park, one for large dogs and one for small, plus a gazebo for shade. The park is large so your dogs will have plenty of room to run around, and there are benches for owners to sit and watch their furry friend have a good time. Make sure to bring water and clean-up bags with you.
The Chimney Rock State Park is a great place for you and Fido to go explore together and spend the day hiking. Located twelve miles out of Fairview in Chimney Rock, your pup is sure not to mind the car ride once he sees where you're taking him.The park is 1000-acres and features pawsome hiking trails and amazing views. While visiting the park your dog needs to stay on leash and is not allowed in the food service area. The park also offers restrooms for owners, and about halfway up the trail, there is a stop for you and Fido to grab water.
The Mills River Dog Park is fifteen miles out of Fairview in the town of Mills River, and is a great spot to take Fido to run around off-leash. The dog park is separated into two areas so your small dog can play with pups his own size, and is filled with grass for those dogs who love to roll in it. The park also offers benches for owners to sit on, and water for dogs to stay hydrated while they have fun. The park is still relatively new so there aren't any trees to help provide shade, so keep an eye on Fido in case he gets too hot.
Nine miles from Fairview is the Morris Broadband Dog Park in Fletcher. Fido will love his short car ride to this pawsome dog park where he can run around off-leash and meet some new friends. The park offers a large and small dog section, as well as agility equipment in both sections of the park. There is a creek right outside of the dog park if your pup loves playing in water and wants to jump in. Make sure to bring a chair since the park doesn't offer any benches, and don't forget water and clean-up bags for your pooch.
