“Your dog’s BEST FRIEND”

Hi, I'm Quinton! I have had various breeds of dogs while growing up (German Shepherd, Labrador Retriever, and Bullmastiff just to name a few). I've fostered, groomed and walked many different breeds of dogs as well! I'm an overall fun and active person, so your dog will definitely have a great time with me! I love jogging too, so if you prefer that your canine friend is more active, I can definitely accommodate.

“More than a walk - Extra Photos & Play/spoil time”

My volunteer time in vet clinics, providing many years off care to my, family & friends’ fur babies, has me well equipped to provide the level of care your bark & purr family members deserve. During my years with Wag, I’ve strived to make sure dogs get attention &/or play time before & after their walks. When doing boardings, sittings & walks, there will be plenty of photo updates, detailed reports of care and grooming/training (as needed/requested). Your baby’ll surely get lots of love from me!

Dog Walking in Midland

Despite its name, Midland, North Carolina isn’t located in the middle of the state. Midland actually sits about 30 minutes east of Charlotte, allowing the town to serve as a bedroom community for the growing muttropolitan area. One interesting fact about Midland is that it’s located just west of Reed Gold Mine, which is where the first gold to ever be found in the United States was discovered. Some people still like to go out in search for more!

Here at Wag, though, we don’t want to encourage you to take a pickaxe out with you when you go for a walk with Fido. The standard waste-bag and leash combo will do. You’ll be taking a lot of walks with your pup here, as there are no dog-friendly restaurants or dog parks in Midland. If you don’t mind a short drive, though, there’s plenty of fun to be had in Charlotte or Concord. Midland does have a veterinarian clinic, either, so if you need care for a sick pet, you won’t have to venture too far away. Midland is a beautiful town, and if you don’t mind a short drive, it can be great fun for both you and your pup!

About 30 minutes from Midland, you and Fido can go have a ball playing together at Barkingham Park! This bark park is located in Reedy Creek Park, right outside the Whispering Oaks neighborhood. There are two separate sections of the park, with one being for small dogs and the other being for large dogs. Water is provided by the park. Locals do warn that it can get very muddy here after a steady rain, so if the weather’s been bad, you might want to have some spare towels in your car. Barkingham might not be a palace, but your dog is sure to feel like a king!

There are several other options in this neighborhood, and all of the restaurants have dog-friendly dining available on the patio.

This large dog park is divided into two sections; like most dog parks, one section is reserved for small dogs and the other is for larger dogs. There’s plenty of seating for doggie parents, so you can enjoy getting a break, too! Water is provided for your dog, but it’s on you to bring along waste bags.
