City Center
A popular activity for pups and families is the Dannebrog Trail. This hiking trail circles the town and follows the abandoned Union Pacific rail line. Pups and their families can walk along the paved trail and stretch their legs while admiring the historic Hannibal Woods. If you are out with the kids, they can easily ride their bike along the path and enjoy the fresh air. You need to keep your pup on his leash while watching the squirrels and birds in their natural habitat. The trail is about three miles long, and you will want to bring your own doggie waste bags and dispose of trash in the convenient receptacles.
