Hi, I'm Michelle! I live on Long Island with my family dog named Buddy, a 3-year-old Yorkshire Terrier. I began dog walking and sitting for my neighbors, friends and family members for as long as I can remember! I love meeting new dogs and being able to spend time with them for as little or long as needed, as well as help out fellow dog owners in the community. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, ranging from an 8 pound Yorkie to a 50 pound Chow Chow mix! Your dogs' health and happiness is incredibly important to me, so I promise to go above and beyond in order to make sure your Wag! experience is as positive as possible!
East Northport is a hamlet in Long Island, New York with a population of over 20,000 people. Neighboring East Northport is the historic maritime village of Northport, and East Northport has many historic sites itself. East Northport's settlement history dates back to the 1600s, and this history includes its existence as a thriving farming community and an essential contributor of supplies during the first World War. Today, East Northport is a primarily residential community with many lovely single-family homes and a good school district. There are also lots of opportunities to explore East Northport with your dog that you'll both enjoy.
The John Walsh Memorial Park isn't an off-leash park, but if your dog is on a leash, they can join you for a visit to this East Northport park. This clean and quiet park has sports fields, plenty of open space, and a playground. After you've worked up an appetite at the park with your pooch, you can both head to the Tropical Smoothie Cafe to refuel. They serve healthy fast-food options like flatbread, wraps, and smoothies, and they even have outdoor dog-friendly tables. A day at the park and a delicious meal is just the beginning of the dog-friendly fun you'll have in the East Northport area!
