Dog Walking in Ardmore

Ardmore is a furiendly suburb located on the west side of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Originally named Athensville, this pawsome place now offers lots of dog friendly activities that your pooch is sure to love. To make sure your canine stays in good health, there around four veterinary clinics and animal hospitals in Ardmore.

Be sure to explore the neighborhood parks in this puptown, such as the Linwood Park. This park offers a pathway around the park where you can enjoy a casual stroll, as well as plenty of room to play fetch and practice your pup’s training on grassy areas. There is also a bench where you can take in the beautiful surroundings and colourful flowers.

Once you have worked up an appetite, head to one of the dog friendly eateries in Prospect. This includes the Hummus Restaurant, which serves up some puptastic Mediterranean dishes. With five tables on the porch, your pup can sit with you while you enjoy your meal. For Mexican food, head to Chipotle Mexican Grill. This triangle shaped park boasts lots of open green grass for your furry friend to roll and roam, with some trees for shade. Get in some exercise on the T-ball field. Restrooms are available here. Normandy Park is not fenced in, so it may be best to keep your dog on leash. Don’t forget to bring some water and treats on a hot day!
