It is located just seven miles from Philadelphia, and offers a nice retreat for you and your furry friend to enjoy together. To make sure your pup is fit and healthy, there is one animal hospital in Drexel Hill, with plenty of veterinary clinics nearby in Upper Darby.

Every good boy or girl deserves a trip to the dog park and that is exactly what is on offer in Drexel Hill! Kent Dog Park is a pawsome place that is paradise for your pooch since it is all fenced in for safe play and exercise. it is divided into two separate areas, with one for smaller pups and the other for larger doggos. Inside you will find lots of space for your four-legged friend to run, roam and roll, as well as a covered pavilion to retreat to for some shade. There are also benches and water available, as well as dog waste bags in case you furgot your own. A membership is required for Kent Dog Park, but it doesn’t cost much and it is worth every penny to see your furry friend have a ball!

This is a pawsome place to explore, with sniff-tastic trails through the woodlands with something new at every turn. The trees provide a lot of shade on hot days, which is sure to please you and your pooch. But, still bring some fresh water for your pup! Other features of Pilgrim Park you can enjoy with the family include tennis courts for some fun in the sun. Running through the park is the Darby Creek Walking Trail, which means you can explore all day long through the woods and head up towards Darby Creek Park.

To enjoy some history along with a walk, check out the Lower Swedish Cabin in Drexel Hill. This is a pawsome green space you can visit, which has one of the oldest log cabins still around in the US, as it was built in the 17th century. While you enjoy having a look at the cabin, your furry friend can enjoy rolling and roaming on the open grass, as well as sniffing around the trees and forest behind. Since the Lowest Swedish Cabin is on the National Register of Historic Places, it may be best to keep your pup on their leash and keep them outside on the grass during your visit.

This spot is furrific with its green grass and trees where your four-legged friend can investigate new scents and sights, as well as run and roam around.
