Magnolia Acres
The Magnolia Acres neighborhood in Greenville, located about half an hour from the city of Greer, is home to Conestee Dog Park. There are two separate areas for small and large dogs, so your pet can safely make friends. This newer, off-leash dog park also has agility equipment and plenty of room for your dog to run around. There are water stations for your dog, and there’s also plenty of shady seating if you or your pooch would like to rest. It’s important to know that no children under the age of ten are allowed in Conestee Dog Park. Make sure to bring water for yourself on hot days, and you’ll also want to bring waste disposal bags.

Pelham
Located less than ten minutes from Greer is Greenville’s Pelham neighborhood, which is an old mill neighborhood. It’s also where you’ll find Pelham Mill Dog Park. This large dog park allows your pet to have some fun off his leash. There are two sections: One is for smaller dogs, and the other is for larger dogs. Pelham Mill Dog Park recently installed agility equipment so that more adventurous dogs can have a pawesome time. There are water fountains for your dog throughout the park, and there are also several waste disposal stations for you to use – which is required. What are you waiting for?

Central
Taylors, located just next to the city of Greer and about a five-minute drive up the road, is home to Pavilion Recreational Complex Dog Park. This dog park has plenty of room for your dog to run around and explore, and he’ll have a heck of a fun time doing it! This park is surrounded by woods, allowing your dog to really get in tune with nature; just remember to give him a once-over for any fleas or ticks, afterwards. There are separate areas for large and small dogs. You’ll want to remember to bring along some water and waste disposal bags, as none are provided.

Downtown
Less than thirty minutes from Greer, you’ll find Greenville’s downtown district. If you’re looking for somewhere to go shopping or grab some delicious food, and you want to bring your best four-legged pal with you, this is the place to be. If you want to get some sporting goods, candy, or clothes, check out Mast General Store. Fido can join you as long as he stays on his leash. (You probably shouldn’t let him get into the candy, either!) Want to have some fun? Check out O.P. Taylor’s, a local toy store located right next to Mast General. A leash is required here, as well. There are plenty of other stores to check out, along with restaurants including Mellow Mushroom, where Fido can join you on the patio.

Viola Street
All dogs love going for a walk, so why not make it fun for both you and your pooch? Go to Greenville’s Viola Street neighborhood, and make sure you bring Fido’s leash! This downtown neighborhood, has a fun, 24/7 activity called “Mice on Main.” Eight small statues of mice are hidden throughout this neighborhood, and the city of Greenville encourages you to post pictures of you and the statues on social media. Your dog can join you for the fun, as long as he’s on his leash and you remember to clean up after him, so bring waste disposal bags. Can you find them all?
