Cibolo is a small city on the outskirts of San Antonio, Texas that’s been named one of Texas’ best suburbs and one of its safest cities. Cibolo has two vet clinics for small animals within its boundaries and several within minutes from the city.

Cibolo doesn’t offer a lot in the way of paw-friendly attractions, but there is plenty of fun just waiting for you and your pooch in San Antonio, which is only minutes away. In the northern part of the city, you’ll find some outdoor fun at Comanche Lookout Park, a beautiful public park with over four miles of nature trails that welcomes leashed dogs and their owners. Or, visit Panther Springs Park, a fenced-in park made just for your furry friend, with small and large enclosures for breeds of all sizes.

You can also visit Downtown San Antonio, about 24 miles from Cibolo, if you’re looking to experience more of the city with your pooch. Check out Bad Wolf Ghost Tours if you’re adventurous enough – your brave pooch is welcome on the nightly tours! You can also visit the off-leash area of Madison Square Park, a clean and well-maintained portion of the gorgeous park made just for mutts.

A little bit of driving is all it takes to experience some pawtastic opportunities outside of Cibolo!
